On the evening of January 29, 2020, China Railway Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. (CRHM) affiliated to CRHIC received a notice from Wuhan Municipal Construction Group Co., Ltd. (WMCG) on supporting the construction of Huoshenshan Hospital in Caidian District, Wuhan.

Time is life and the outbreak brooks no delay. CRHM, upon consultation with WMCG, has dispatched overnight the first batch of personnel consisting of 13 young technical backbones and 4 managers to provide assistance in the hospital construction, and allocated 12 carbon dioxide cogas protective welders, 1 ton of welding wire, 43 bottles of carbon dioxide, 9 automobiles and 1 truck to support the on-site steel truss installation of steel houses in the construction of Huoshenshan Hospital, contributing to the fight against the outbreak. After arriving at the construction site and communicating with the on-site responsible person at WMCG, the personnel from CRHM promptly started the assigned work, worked against the schedule and operated machines at full capacity to support the hospital construction against time, in an attempt to resolutely win the fight in preventing and controlling the outbreak by shouldering the responsibility of a state owned enterprise.
