On June 5th, Dieter Fritz, CEO of Voestalpine VAE Group, pays an exchange visit to CRHIC. CRHIC’s General Manager Li Jianbin and Vice Chairman Huang Zhenyu meet with Mr. Fritz.
Li Jianbin expresses welcome to Fritz, and points out that, China Railway Shanhaiguan Bridge Group Co., Ltd. (CRSBG) under CRHIC and VAE have a good basis for cooperation. Chinese New Turnout Technologies Co., Ltd. (CNTT), a joint venture established by the two parties, has a history of 12 years, supplying goods for 35 high speed railways including Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Railway and Xiamen-Shenzhen High Speed Railway, and participating the construction of high speed railways with a total operation length of over 10,000km. The German production technology has assured quality for the products of CNTT, which have been well received by customers in China and foreign countries. CRHIC, after listing, shifts from a manufacturer to a service-oriented manufacturer. It will give priority to customer demands, determine the direction of technology research and development, and customize solutions according to customer demands. CRHIC welcomes VAE to get involved in research and development of key products such as weather-resistant turnout, and expects the two parties to hold a in-depth communication and exchange for a win-win outcome.
Fritz says that, China has exhibited to the whole world its remarkable achievements in railway industry in recent years. The total length of China’s high speed railway construction has exceeded that of the rest of the world combined. Such proud achievements are inseparable from the outstanding contributions of CRHIC and its affiliated companies such as CRSBG and China Railway Baoji Bridge Group Co., Ltd. Some countries now in the world are worried about China’s rapid development, and even adopt a closed policy to restrict patented technology that brings harm to free trade. VAE holds a completely different attitude. VAE supports the “Belt and Road” initiative, and happy to see enterprises like CRHIC to expand their international market. Since its inception, VAE has been adhering to the development concept of open cooperation and has strived to apply technologies to the world. Based on this concept, VAE and CRSBG jointly established CNTT in 2007. With the mutual trust, support and endeavor of shareholders, CNTT has made a great success. VAE will continue to give full support to the development of CNTT, and hope to take CNTT as a platform to strengthen cooperation with CRHIC, jointly develop new technologies and new products and provide a full set of services for China railway market.
