The last span of Padma Bridge in Bangladesh was successfully installed at 12:20 p.m. on December 10, 2020.
The Padma Bridge, located in the south of Bangladesh, is the largest bridge project in Bangladesh and hailed by its people as a “Dream Bridge”. The 4.16km long bridge serves for two purposes, two-way four-lane highway on the upper deck and single-track railway on the lower deck. It is jointly manufactured by China Railway Shanhaiguan Bridge Group Co., Ltd. and China Railway Jiujiang Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd.
