On October 15th, Greek Minister of Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis, Greek Ambassador to China Leonidas Rokanas and honorable Hellenic delegation visit the headquarters of CRHIC in Beijing. Li Jianbin, General Manager of CRHIC, holds meetings with them. The two parties has had an extensive exchange and reached important consensus on future cooperation in rail transit and other infrastructure areas. CRHIC’s Deputy General Manager Cao Dengjing also attends the meeting.

Li Jianbin warmly welcomes Adonis Georgiadis and honorable Hellenic delegation. He says that, CRHIC actively participates in the infrastructure construction of countries along the Belt and Road as a core enterprise in the field of Chinese traffic engineering. Greece is the first European country to sign a memorandum of understanding with China on jointly building the Belt and Road, and the country has a tremendous development potential in rail transit market. Based on its strategy in overseas markets, CRHIC will further develop the leading technical advantages and professional strength in the field of global rail transit, determine business cooperation model with in-depth survey, and build a bridge of cooperation for a better future.
Adonis Georgiadis is delighted to be invited to CRHIC. In recent years, China witnesses a rapid economic development. Greece has always regarded China as a friendly country, and this year, Greece has joined the “16 + 1 cooperation” as a full member. He expresses great interest in visiting CRHIC, having a deep understanding of CRHIC products, and cooperating with CRHIC. He reveals that, Greece now enjoys a stable social and economic development, and many Chinese-funded companies choose to invest in the country. Greece now is working hard on upgrading and transforming its railway transport system, such as building new railway lines, maintaining old railway lines and expanding ports, so he welcomes CRHIC to participate in infrastructure construction of Greece.
