Railway Shanhaiguan Bridge Group Co., Ltd. (CRSBG) under CRHIC, China Railway Science and Industry Group Co., Ltd. under CRHIC and China Railway Jiujiang Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd. under CRHIC participated in the construction of the railway, which shortens the maximum travel time between Jakarta and Bandung from 3.5 hours to 40 minutes.
The turnout products for the 350km/h passenger dedicated line developed and exported by CRSBG for Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway have seen sharp improvements in service performance and service life through overall line type design and internal structure design. Moreover, CRSBG has developed a new process route, drawn up detailed process parameters, designed special tools and process equipment, and enabled numerical control and standardization of all rail parts processing. With the above efforts, the requirements of high smoothness, high comfort and long life for exported high-speed turnout are met.
China Railway Science and Industry Group Co., Ltd. affiliated to CRHIC has provided 11 sets of construction equipment such as bridge erecting machine, beam transport vehicle, transporter and girder lifting machine for the railway, and has completed the erection of 2,084 box girders, which accounts for 81.5% of the total task load of box girder erecting along the whole line. By combining the technical advantages of the third generation tunnel-crossing transport and erection equipment and China's first kiloton-grade transport and erection equipment, the JQS900 tunnel-crossing transport and erection equipment tailored for the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway features light weight, reliable performance, strong adaptability to complex working conditions, and can fully adapt to the railway's special working conditions such as 30 ‰ ramp, R1300m small curve and girder erection at tunnel entrance.
China Railway Jiujiang Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd. under CRHIC mainly undertakes the only steel truss girder fabrication and installation engineering with a span of 84m along the entire line. The steel truss girder is 85.4m long and a through double-track simply-supported girder. The on-site erection adopts the drag method. Specifically, a 150t truck crane is used to assemble steel nose girder and steel truss girder of the first four intersegments on the assembly platform in sequence. After the assembly and connection are completed, the continuous jack is commissioned for drag construction. The erection was successfully completed on October 19, 2021.
