On the morning of June 4, the world's first large diameter (9.53m) TBM 'Funing' with an ultra-small turning radius, manufactured by China Railway Engineering Equipment Group Co., Ltd. affiliated to CRHIC, rolls off the production line in Tianjin. With a designed minimum turning radius of 90m and the a designed maximum longitudinal slope of 9.02%, the equipment has the smallest turning radius and the largest longitudinal slope in the world's large-diameter TBMs.

It is a large-diameter TBM with ultra-small turning radius tailored by China Railway Engineering Equipment Group Co., Ltd. for Funing Pumped Storage Power Station in Hebei, with a length of 85 meters and weight of 1,700 tons.
