On December 28, the world's first full face rock shaft boring machine 'China Railway No. 599', which is independently developed by CREG, a CRHIC subsidiary company, broke through the hole from the underground plant exhaust shaft, as of the moment, the exhaust shaft of Ninghai Pumped Storage Power Station was successfully completed. The successful use of the full face rock shaft boring machine marked that China's tunnel boring machine enterprises, represented by CREG, successfully solved the world-class technical problems of full face rock shaft boring machine, realizing unmanned underground boring for the first time and made a breakthrough in the field of shaft boring machine.
The diameter of 'China Railway No. 599' full face rock shaft boring machine is 7.83m, and the depth of the project is 200m, with good rock integrity and high rock strength. The equipment integrates traditional shaft construction technology and the concept of full face tunnel boring machine construction, which can safely and efficiently build a shaft and realize power sinking and unmanned underground construction for the first time. The equipment has the special propulsion technology with independent intellectual property rights, the mechanical synchronous slag discharge system with full face boring with independent intellectual property rights and the first remote control system for vertical shafts, so that the operator does not need to go down the shaft. It is the first time to realize three high-end technologies that allows unmanned construction of full face rock boring under the shaft.
