CRHIC's TBM Undergoes Cloud Acceptance and Launches in Austria for the First Time

On April 6, jointly witnessed by China Railway Engineering Equipment Group Co., Ltd. (CREG) and the Client MEEC-SPIE, a 'cloud acceptance' spanning thousands of miles was held in China Railway Engineering Equipment Group (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. as scheduled. The EPB TBM 'CREC 1034' developed by CREG successfully passed the Client's acceptance. This equipment is to serve the drainage tunnel project in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. It is the first time that Chinese TBM is exported to Portugal.

A few days ago, the Main Kelly hard rock TBM 'CREC 1071' manufactured by CREG successfully launched in the diversion tunnel project of Kuehtai Hydropower Station in Austria. The equipment with a diameter of 4.23 meters conforms to CE standards in its overall design and configures with a number of innovative functions to greatly improve its safety and adaptability.
