Based on the industrial and social development, China Railway Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. (CRHM) affiliated to CRHIC has focused on the fields of railway station buildings, civil buildings, science, education, culture and health, industrial plants, prefabricated integrated houses, and has a presence in more than 50 cities across the country. It has participated in the construction of more than 50 national key railway station buildings and built over 30 high-quality steel projects.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, CRHM has actively fulfilled its social responsibility and shouldered its mission. In February 2020, it participated in the construction of Xi'an 'Xiaotangshan' Hospital, accomplishing 140 integrated houses; in March 2022, it aided the construction of mobile cabin hospital in Changchun, Jilin, organizing hundreds of staff to complete 226 isolation ward supporting rooms in more than 10 days; In April 2022, it participated in the construction of Dongxihu mobile cabin hospital in Wuhan, delivering 274 integrated houses.

In 2020, CRHM took more than three months to build 10 integrated house project departments for all CREC companies participating in the construction of Dianzhong Water Diversion Project, including more than 400 sets of standard containers, special-shaped containers and multi-function containers with a total floor area of more than 7,500 square meters.
