Closure of the Domestically First Paint-free and Weathering-resistant Steel Highway Bridge Produced by CRBBG
Recently, erection work relating to stiffening girders of the main span of the highway bridge for Guanting Reservoir in Huailai County was completed, marking a crucial step having been made in the construction of the domestically first pain-free and weathering-resistant large steel highway bridge. The main bridge of Guanting Reservoir Highway Bridge produced by CRBBG is 720 meters long, crossing over the river in one span, and is rated as “the largest span in North China”. The steel girders of the main bridge are made of paint-free and environment-friendly weathering-resistant steel, which is the first practice among domestically long span highway bridges, and the total weight of the steel structure is about 7,000 tons. So far, CRBBG has five spans in this water area.
Closure of Steel Arches of the Main Bridge of No. 10 Track Bridge over the Fenhe River in Taiyuan and Undertaken by CRBBG
On 2nd Nov, steel arches of the main bridge of No. 10 Line Bridge over the Fenhe River were successfully joined together. In the engineering construction of “three bridges and one highway” in Taiyuan, CRBBG was the first to complete the main structure construction, which had built a solid foundation for achieving through connection of the whole bridge. Fenhe No. 10 Line Bridge is a trough steel truss arch bridge with steel truss structure and has a single span of 204 meters. The main bridge has totally 35 steel arches, the heaviest hoisting-installed segment is 135 tons, the total weight of the hoisting-installed steel arches is about 4,748 tons, and the total weight of steel girders is about 4,070 tons.
The First Erection of the Bridge Layer Provided by China Railway Science & Industry Group in Linghai Girder Production Yard set for Building Chaoyang-Lingyuan Railway
On 6th Nov, the bridge layer provided by China Railway Science & Industry Group (CRSIC) successfully erected 900 tons of first-arch box girders in Linghai Girder Production Yard set for Chaoyang-Lingyuan Railway. The equipment adopted is the first generation cross-tunnel splitting machine consisting of JQDS900 bridge layer and YLS900 cross-tunnel girder transporting car, a set of construction equipment specially designed by mechanical institute of CRSIC in 2010 for completing works of tunnel crossing and field changing, erection of the first and last arches, direction change of girder yard, and erection and installation of tunnel portal in the process of erecting and installing bridges in conditions of connected tunnels and complex geography in high-speed railway construction without assistance of other auxiliary equipment. Before this, JQSS900 bridge layer of CRSIC has made successful first erection in TJ-2 Section of Chaoyang-Lingyuan Railway.
Six China Railway Group Member Enterprises Including China Railway Engineering Equipment Group and A Zhengzhou State-owned Enterprise Sign an Agreement on Construction of a Joint Venture Company
On 8th Nov, China Railway Construction Investment Group, China Railway Engineering Equipment Group, China Railway Seventh Group, China Railway Liuyuan Group, China Railway Tunnel Stock Co., Ltd., China Railway Electrification Engineering Group, and Zhengzhou Public Utility Investment Development Group signed an agreement on construction of a joint venture company. According to the agreement, the 7 enterprises will establish “Zhengzhou Underground Space Comprehensive Development Co. Ltd. ” under joint ventures. The joint venture company will be developed into an industry management platform regarding comprehensive development of underground space with a complete industrial chain that has an integration of planning, design, investment, construction, operation, equipment research and production, providing solutions regarding comprehensive development of underground space for Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, Central Plains urban agglomerations and even more target customers.
Successful Closure of Monorail Project in Guizhou Xishui Constructed by China Railway Jiujiang Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd.
On 6th Nov, closure of the first section of elevated sightseeing monorail project in Xishui, Guizhou was completed successfully. The entire single-way length is 11.8 km, and China Railway Jiujiang Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd. participated in this construction and undertook the fabrication and installation of steel girders of tracks in the first section. In the engineering, spans in Section SY252 and Section SY242 are composed of 15m+30m+15m continuous steel girders. Fabrication and installation of continuous steel girder is the key and most difficult task of the whole engineering. China Railway Jiujiang Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd. has gained experience in terms of long-span straddle-type railway transportation through this project.
