On November 1, the first steel truss girder for marking section CT-A6 of Luanzhou non-navigable span on the Changtai Changjiang River Bridge fell steadily at pier 8, indicating the successful erection of the first steel girder of the Changtai Changjiang River Bridge, since then the Changtai Bridge project has moved from in-plant manufacturing phase to the parallel phase of in-plant manufacturing and bridge site erection. The marking section of CT-A6 of Changtai Changjiang River is 137,000 tons in total and currently 10,100 tons have been produced by CRSBG. a monthly production of 2,200 tons.
Changtai Changjiang River Bridge is the largest multifunctional load asymmetric arrangement bridge. It is the largest span cable-stayed bridge with the largest continuous length steel truss girder and the largest scale carbon brazed dimensional composite cable, the largest span public-rail steel truss arch bridge and the highest strength parallel steel wire cable-stayed bridge.
Changtai Changjiang River Bridge is a heavyweight bridge with four 'firsts' in the world: the first thermal-adapting tower-deck restraint system (TARS), the first step-type scour reduction and self-weight reduction sinkhole foundation, the first 'steel-concrete' compound structure with diamond-shaped towers, and the first 'steel box-core concrete' combined cable tower anchorage structure.
