On-site large segment assembly of non-navigable span bridge in flood discharge area and shoal area of Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge Project completed
Recently, the 110m large segment welding of the non-navigable span bridge in the last flood discharge area was completed, marking that the on-site assembly of 46 large segments for the non-navigable span bridge in the flood discharge area and shoal area of Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge project undertaken by China Railway Shanhaiguan Bridge Group Co., Ltd. under CRHIC was successfully completed. Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge is the world's largest sea-crossing cluster project that integrates 'bridges, islands, tunnels and underground interconnections'. While constructing the project, China Railway Shanhaiguan Bridge Group Co., Ltd. proceeded from 'addressing the fatigue damage of orthotropic bridge deck', and established the 'four lines and one system' mechanism comprising of intelligent blanking and cutting production line for plates, intelligent welding production line for plate units, intelligent assembly production line for segments, intelligent painting production line for steel box girders and intelligent control system for workshop manufacturing. This mechanism has comprehensively improved the automation, digitalization, informatization and intelligent manufacturing level of steel box girder manufacturing, and has effectively ensured the quality stability of products.
TBM 'Changtong' successfully runs through ' the longest Yangtze River-crossing tunnel'
Recently, the TBM 'Changtong' developed by China Railway Engineering Equipment Group Co., Ltd. under CRHIC and applied to the Yangtze River-crossing project of China-Russia east-route natural gas pipeline successfully completed underwater receiving. It represents that 'the longest Yangtze River-crossing tunnel' has been fully run through, and symbolizes that the first ultra-small atmospheric pressure cutting wheel shield machine independently developed by China has successfully passed through the world's longest single-direction shield tunnel in the oil and gas field. Given the geological conditions of the tunnel, the R&D team equipped the shield machine with several intelligent systems including automatic biogas monitoring system, intelligent cutting wheel online monitoring system, tail skin gap automatic measurement system and automatic segment selection, and optimized safety factor, pressure bearing capacity and explosion-proof performance design for key components. These new breakthroughs in shield technology make the machine safer, more environmentally friendly and more intelligent and allow for improved construction efficiency.
Huizhou Echeng Bridge construction scheme passes expert review meeting
Recently, the expert review meeting on the main bridge steel girder, steel arch rib and goose tower erection scheme of the Huizhou Echeng Bridge, which was jointly built by China Railway Jiujiang Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd. affiliated to CRHIC, was held in Huizhou, Guangdong Province, and the scheme passed review. The Echeng Bridge is positioned as urban trunk road serving both traffic and landscape purposes. The main line is a two-way 6-lane highway with a designed speed of 50km/h. Measuring 460 meters long and 45 meters wide, the main bridge is a four-span continuous skew-span special-shaped tied arch bridge and adopts steel beam and steel arch structure, with a main span of 180 meters and non-motorized lane and sidewalk on both sides. The approach bridge on both sides is a prestressed concrete continuous beam bridge. China Railway Jiujiang Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd. takes charge of the manufacturing and installation of the main bridge, main arch and goose tower. It is the largest tonnage and most difficult bridge with the greatest number of structural forms undertaken by the company in Huizhou.
